About Gigi Morris
Gigi has more than 20 years of professional experience in the fashion apparel industry. Her background experiences range from couture fashion to mass-market production. Growing up, she learned the basics of clothing construction in their family-owned dress shop. Her experience includes five years of working in home fashion industry particularly Custom Decorating.
She has formal education on fashion design and professional training on Garment Manufacturing, Product Development and Quality Control. She has traveled internationally sourcing for production and training assignments. She has worked for companies like M & L Intl, Jockey Phils., Home Fabrics and JCPenney. She has recently expanding into high-end commercial and residential custom decorating and currently, working on a launching a line of designers furniture.
Gigi has been part of the UNLV/NAFD Fashion program since 1999. She teaches Fashion Design, Apparel Production and other classes. She also occasionally writes for local magazines and is writing a D²IY ( Design and Do it Yourself ) Books on Skirts, Little Black Dress and Handmade Bags."
